Accessibility

Our commitment to making the site usable for every parent, regardless of ability or assistive technology.

Our commitment

We strive to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Accessibility is something we work on continuously and we welcome feedback from anyone who has trouble using the site.

Standards & last review

This site is reviewed against WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Last reviewed: April 2026.

What we’ve done

  • Semantic HTML structure with one <h1> per page and a logical heading order.
  • ARIA states on every interactive control (mobile menu, FAQ accordion, gallery preview, reviews filter).
  • Full keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators on every focusable element.
  • Sufficient color contrast for all body text, large text, and UI components.
  • Descriptive alternative text on every meaningful image; decorative images marked as such.
  • A skip-to-main-content link for keyboard users.
  • Form labels visible above every input; error and status messages announced to screen readers.
  • Respect for the operating system prefers-reduced-motion setting.

Known limitations

  • Online booking is provided by Acuity Scheduling, a third-party service. Acuity publishes its own accessibility statement.
  • The service-area map on our home page is provided by Google Maps. The same service-area information is available in plain text on the home page and on our About page.
